It’s approximately 1 hour after leaving this dentistry office….And I am feeling so much better. Let me explain: I am on vacation in Gulf Shores. On my first day in town I begin having a familiar tooth pain - it’s an abscess. I have had them before and from the moment of recognition I know it is only going to get worse. I call Dr.Edward’s office and on Sunday morning. They answer and we set up a visit for 9am Monday. By the time I get to the office on Monday my tooth is in throbbing pain and my gums are swelled slightly. I have not eaten solid food in 2 days and the pain has woken me from sleep several times. I am feeling hopeless. The paperwork was minimal and was in a dentist chair promptly. Now initially they did not want to pull the tooth for a variety of reasonable facts…:but I told them my history and my wishes and THEY LISTENED TO ME. They heard me out and they accommodated me. I cannot tell you how rare this is (in my experience) and I will be forever grateful. Furthermore I was in and out in an hour flat with prescriptions and excellent instructions on how to care for the large hole in my mouth. 10 out of 10 stars. I feel better already and can enjoy my vacation finally.

We were from out of town and on vacation when we suddenly needed emergency dental care. We were incredibly grateful that this office was able to see us so quickly and provide such compassionate, attentive care. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff was absolutely wonderful-kind, welcoming, and helpful. Where do I even start?! I have had a lot of dental anxiety leading up to this point, and they made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked through the door. Everyone was quick, efficient, incredibly kind, and genuinely made me feel cared for. I honestly wish I lived closer because I would absolutely make Dr. Mary my regular dentist! Leading up to our vacation, I had quite a bit of dental work done back home and currently have several temporary crowns. Of course, on day one of vacation, two of my temporary crowns came off on one side of my mouth. I called their office on a Sunday, and they got me in first thing Monday morning. One of the temporaries had broken when I tried to put it back in myself, so they made me an entirely new temporary crown. It fits perfectly, feels incredibly secure, and immediately put my mind at ease. Then, a couple of days later, a different temporary crown came off on the OTHER side of my mouth! Thankfully, this one wasn’t broken. I called them again, and once again, they got me in first thing the next morning. They were able to put it right back in so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation without worrying about my teeth. Their entire office was absolutely wonderful. Dr. Mary made me feel completely at ease, which means so much to someone with dental anxiety. They went above and beyond for me—not once, but twice—when I wasn’t even an established patient and was just here on vacation. If there were an option to give 10 stars, I absolutely would. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Dr. Mary and the entire team, for taking such great care of me and saving my vacation! ❤️

Amazing dentist!

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Mary Long, after dreading a dental visit for months. I'm fairly new in the area, and was drawn by the Edwards practice's outstanding reviews and local word of mouth. I was not disappointed. I'm dental-phobic, so getting comfy with a new dentist is anxiety-provoking. From the cheery greeting at the front desk, to a gentle but thorough cleaning to the exam and consult with Dr. Mary herself, the entire visit was next-level. Dr. Mary is so kind, intelligent, warm and sensitive. She listens. She laughs. What a remarkable woman. And doctor. I can honestly say I look forward to coming back!

Dr. Edwards and her staff are phenomenal! We were in Gulf Shores for vacation and I had a crown come off! I texted her number over the weekend and she told me to come in first this Monday morning!! They got my crown permanently cemented back on, and I was good to go!! Great location, and beyond fabulous care💗

This place and staff are amazing!! I called over a chipped tooth that I needed fixed urgently and they had me seen and fixed up the next hour! So nice and helpful and I’m so glad I found them! Thank yall again!

I cannot recommend this place and this staff enough! I’ve always been very hesitant with dental visits and procedures and I’m so glad I found this place! Everyone was kind, understanding and extremely gentle during my procedures. I called the day before and was seen and taken care of in less than 24 hours! Please don’t look any further, they are the best 🙌
